I remember when Rattie and Yamamoto lead the league in pre-season goals last year, turned out so well for the both of them. Come back after 40 games and Neal has 4 goals in the regular season.

At Wells Fargo Center, they now have a giant single logo at center ice instead of two logos on either side of the red line...am I the only one who doesn't like that? I thought it was a classic look and was disappointed when Montreal went away from it last year; the Blues used to do the same thing.

I prefer the two logos as well. The Oilers were another team that used to do it. They switched to one giant logo during the 2006 Olympic break.

They could have printed last years NHL-numbers, or lower league numbers with an asterisk for what league. (Pick the 'highest' league with some numbers to mention). But I guess that's just me.

While it is a more classic look, I'm gonna go the other way and prefer the one-big-logo look. The ice and boards are too visually cluttered these days... the single logo draws the eye to something geometrically simple.

Not worried. Backups are not hard to get if Zag or Gilles can’t step in that role (which I doubt one of them won’t if all else fails with Talbot) anyways, it’s one preseason game.
