Discussion of his personal issues, extrapolation/speculation about his home life, or presumptions and judgements that go beyond the scope of the San Jose Sharks team and their relationship with Kane as an employee/hockey player are out of bounds on the grounds of potential for libel or inappropriate/offensive content (and don't say it couldn't happen. Brian Burke once threatened multiple online discussion platforms including HF on the grounds that people anonymously made possibly libelous comments against him).

Interesting that the NHL is the sole reporter, judge, and jury for these additional two investigations. It's click-baity in a way:

"I wasn't given a choice to investigate the truth about ______________"

If the NHL stays mum and Kane misses one paycheck, that could make his bankuptcy case interesting.

As a compromise, I am fully willing to invalidate our 2nd round pick this year, irrespective of whether or not the investigations turn anything definitive up.

If a player submits a fake vaccination card to the team, then unless the team knew it was fake but still passed it onto the league/recorded it, I don't see why the team should suffer any penalties.

Apologies for the thread shell-game wonkiness. I went to move the new discussion into the old thread without realizing that it was over 1,000 posts. So to remedy that I've made this new thread so that it has the necessary mod warning up front and moved everything from tonight (again) so that it's here.

The moral of the story is to not try and mod threads while you're also eating dinner.
