Not that their old look was anything amazing, but...big step backwards for Louisville. Another identity thrown away to copy the parent club.

You beat me to it. I saw the main logo leaked days before the big reveal today on another message board.

BTW, I think the Norfolk Tides of the International League could be the next team changing their looks next on December 2nd...

As for the new Bats new logo, it's okay. The interlocking "LB" could use a longer lower "L" portion, and I though black was a Reds color instead of navy, but that's just me. Not bad.

A new Summer Collegiate/Independent League in Michigan that shares a new Ballpark, the Untied Shore Professional Baseball League announced their 3 teams. I hope there's at least one team, because 3 teams would be troublesome to schedule around.

The image they're using to advertise gives us a hint of some of the elements of that new look - I think we're seeing the numbering and maybe the lettering set there.

I'm not a big fan of orange and green being used together. And the seahorse seems odd. I'm not liking this identity.

I don't like it either. Aspects of it seem very derivative of Charlotte's typeface/numbering font. No surprise as both were done by Brandiose, but you'd think they would have tried to change it up a little for two teams in the same division.

Brandiose ran out of ideas long ago, they've just been recycling things for a while now...I have absolutely no clue why almost every minor league team feels the need to use the same mediocre company.

Personally I like Studio Simon's designs a bit better. Then again my team has an old school "animal jumping through a letter" logo. Here's hoping the Bulls *never* pick up the phones if Brandiose calls.
