In all fairness, Thomas was the MVP for a reason. Obviously Chia and co built the team, but Thomas played to a level no one expected.

Everyone deserves credit for it, but I think the MVP speaks volumes about where the bulk of the credit should go.

In eriksson defense he has a strong two way game, which adds to his value, smith is nowhere near his level in D-play.

Smith is a low end 2nd liner that rides with Bergeron (high end 1st liner) and Marchand (low end 1st liner).

Eriksson is a low end 1st liner that rides with Kelly(who is a low end 3rd liner) and Soderberg (who is a high end #3C/low end #2C).

I never said just Thomas. I said the majority of the credit belonged to him that run.

I just think if someone in a hyperbolic manner praises his post season performance, that he shouldn't be attacked for it.
