He could use a change of scenery obviously. I don't see Columbus doing it if they're taking dead salary back.

I would offer Hawks 2020 2nd round pick for him if Jackets would retain a small % of salary (Maybe say enough for 400k a year off AAV)

Then put Wennberg as 3rd line C with Saad to try and allow Hawks to roll three consistent scoring lines

Strome + Debrincat
Wennberg + Saad

This makes a lot of sense. Wennberg + Saad complement each other very well. It was a #1 line a couple years ago. Hard to imagine now.
