Exactly. You see what you have with him by playing him. Then you can decide to either extend his contract or ship him out for picks/prospects. At this point the Sens aren't giving him a chance to earn a longer term role and they also aren't increasing his trade value.

Hey I remember Galchenyuk. Wonder what he's up to. I liked that goal he scored.

He has been waiting in the press box while this coaching staff tried Stepan and Connor Brown on the powerplay. The same powerplay that we are the 8th worst in the league at with 13.6%. The same powerplay that over the last 5 games since Galchenyuk has been scratched has gone 0/5, 2/5, 0/5, 1/4, 0/5.

just like white he's better than half the roster. prob same story with Brann and L. Brown.

even if they make mistakes defensively at least they have the skill to contribute. guys like stepan and paquette make the same mistakes and have nothing to offer

They need to play him more. He is obviously speedy and has good hands. That can at least equal something positive, compared to slow and no hands. This is not rocket science.
