I was curious to see how good Debrincat would look this year since he was known to be super skilled but not every player can overcome that kind of size disparity, cool to see him off to a good start. Looks like Chicago made the right move in drafting him.

One thing I like about Chicago is they haven't been afraid to draft/sign smaller players and it's worked for them.

Unbelievable that both DeBrincat and Girard were drafted in the 2nd round that year. Two overly talented players that were drafted waaayyy too late because of their size.

Its almost a crime he is still on the 3rd line. him playing with Kane or even having a good play maker in Schmaltz paired with him would do wonders.

The Hawks talking heads weren't kidding. The puck really does find the kid.

It would be great to have him with Kane more often but there are only so many slots. Arty has two stay at 2C. It's not coincidence that the Hawks started turning it around when he moved back up with Kane.

Thank god we traded Girard and Debrincat for an overpaid Shaw. Wouldn't want young talented core players.
