The Red Sox have never lost a playoff game on Marathon Monday.

As a Jays fan credit where credit is due, this Red Sox team is incredible. Every time it looks like they're dead, they get an extra life, every time you cut off their head, 3 grow back in place:

- Most "experts" thought they'd be 500 at best at the start
- They had a COVID outbreak in early Sept and weathered the storm
- Got swept by Yanks and lost series to Orioles but held strong to sweep Nats
- Went down 5-1 to WSH in game 162 and came all the way back to win 7-5 to clinch playoff birth
- Went down 5-2 to Tampa in game 2 looking like they were going to get stomped then came back to win game 2 with 20 (!!!) hits
- Then here they are winning b2b games to beat the 100+ win Rays team in a dramatic upset

Who's to say this team can't go all the way at this point, many people (including myself) thought they were playing way above their heads all year but at this point, they're here to stay! Good luck to the BoSox in the next round!

Both Houston and Chicago are very good clubs but nowhere near as deep or complete as the Rays, so anything can happen. They do have better starting pitching, but neither has nearly as good a bullpen
