Jhonas Enroth would be in the NHL as a back-up goalie if it wasn't of Lalime. When Miller got injured at the beginning of the season they even called him up to make him play instead of trusting Lalime, wich is funny..

I'm pretty sure Buffalo will keep him up as a second goalie next year since this year is the last of Lalime's contract.

Mark Mancari is the AHL's leading scorer and has become very responsible defensively. The Sabres have never given him an extended look, though he also hasn't forced his way onto the roster in any of the training camps either.

He could be a good 3rd line RW on some teams.

I think all these guys would crack bottom feeders 4th lines or 7th dman.

If Maxime Sauve could stay healthy I'd say him too.

Given that Buffalo is a bottom feeder and Adam is not ready and Mancari has not been able to stick... perhaps not. (Ditto Kennedy, who they bought out and no one else wants.)

Brunnstrom would need to clear re-entry waivers before he could play a game with the Leafs so that's why he hasn't been called up. So it's hard to say whether or not he can crack the leafs lineup until next year.

Basically anyone on the Binghamton Senators could maybe play in the NHL except for some of the younger guys. Not saying they would all do good.

For the Marlies:
Zigomanis as a 4th line C and faceoff specialist
Hanson can probably make the 3rd/4th line on a team weak at C (Burke/Wilson are dumb to choose Boyce/Brent/Mitchell over him)
Somewhat Reimer, he is up with the Leafs now, but goalie depth is getting in his way
Aulie and Mikus, Leafs too deep in 1-way contracts on D

Linus Omark - while he is currently in the NHL, I think he'll likely get sent down when Hemsky and Eberle are healthy. He's shown he's capable of playing a 2nd line role, but we have too many other young wingers ahead of him.

lol, the op asked for our opinions. It's my opinion that Brunnstrom could crack some teams bottom 6. There's no wrong or right here, we won't get to see him in the NHL till pre-season next year anyway as another poster said.

Brendon Nash and Brett Festerling on a team with worse defense.
Benjamin Maxwell looked NHL ready in pre-season, but just doesn't fit anywhere.
Curtis Sanford would probably still be a capable back-up.

Agreed on Sanford, he is easily one of the top goalies in the AHL again this year, although I've heard he wasn't overly impressive in his NHL time. I would say he may be the best goalie the Habs have had in the AHL since being in Hamilton.

I'd add Dustin Boyd. He has 13 goals in 17 games, and has scored some nice goals as he's got a nice shot for sure.

Detroit has Jan Mursak, who will probably play in the playoffs at the end of the season. He is up with the wings right now and doesn't look out of place at all. Tomas Tatar could crack an NHL lineup as well.

Jaime Tardif could be a 4th liner on most teams, same with Jordan Owens but the wings are too deep right now.

Brendan Smith could be playing the PP on some teams, he is pretty damn good offensively.

So I guess Detroit has a few young guys who could crack other teams lineups as of right now

Kyle Wilson, Tom Sestito, and Michael Blunden are 4th line quality on most teams, there is just an overabundance of similar players.
Nikita Filatov would slot in on some teams, especially ones with injury problems to their scoring lines.
Nick Holden and Mike Commodore are NHL ready, but Holden is down so he gets more experience and Commie is what he is.

There's already two AHL'ers on the roster at defense, so I don't think Nash or Festerling deserves a mention.

Well Festerling has already played 80+ games in the NHL, so clearly he's capable. Brendon Nash has been Hamilton's best defender in the games that I've seen, he plays a very safe, simple defensive game and has a really good first pass. He could probably be a serviceable bottom pairing guy right now.

I wouldn't count NHL games played as a good reference, Picard has over 200 games in the NHL and I'm not sure if any NHL team would want him for free. Festerling seems like a solid AHLer but not sure if he would garner much interest although I'm glad we got some additional depth since we are thin on blueliners in the organization. Alex Henry has almost 200 games in the NHL, he's big and tough but not quick on his feet or overly mobile.

Nash is the Dogs top D offensively, granted he's older then Carle by some 6 months (his D-partner on the top pairing to those that don't follow the Dogs) but it's impressive to see how quickly he's adjusted to the AHL from the ECAC (Played for Cornell an Ivy league team so he averaged 30 games a season) Of course we don't know how he would do at the NHL level, but I could see him getting a look next year if he continues to progress like he has. I'd say he's one of the Habs top D prospects at this point. Defensively I'd say St-Denis is the top on the team, too bad he's not bigger cause he's shown impressive improvement each year since signing as a Undrafted Free Agent out of the Q and CIS.
