As long as we pick top 5 I'm fine. There's no generational talent at #1. Pick #5 could turn out as good or better as pick #1 this year. They just gotta do their homework and scout the s*** out of them.

Exactly. Price would do Price things and that will not be good for their future. He has done better with worse teams dragging them into the playoff race. He can easily, with a full healthy team, start winning 8 out of every 10. A healthy habs team is very fast. Dangerously so.

Yeah, a game they were outshot 50 to like 20 with Dallas hitting 5 posts and Montembeault going prime Hasek is totally sustainable.

Also I can't fathom the record we would need and other teams to pick any later than like 7.

We'd need to go 30-13-1 to finish with .500 record. A .682 pace. Lmao

We're so far behind that if we won the rest of our games, we'd barely catch Boston if they maintain their pace, and couldn't catch 7th place Pittsburgh.

Everytime they let a player bully someone physically it never goes well from that point

Problem is bullying is a goal of the NHL and the reffing. Lots of encouragement for big guys to go after small guys and fighters to go after non fighters. Always a surprise when it ends badly.
