I remember seeing somewhere that during the Bills-Ravens game last year, McDermott laid the blueprint for how to slow down Lamar Jackson, and defenses started playing Lamar differently for the rest of the year after watching the tape from the Bills game. Hopefully that carries over to the game today!

I really don't know how to call this one, it's a really good matchup. My gut says the Ravens but my bias towards the Bills won't let me pick them. Should be a good game, and hopefully Buffalo pulls it out.

We have a tough time against the run and tackling. Ravens are coming in hot and seem to have a chip for whatever reason. This team needs to play disciplined football, stay in their gaps and they might be able to win this. I'm not sure I can handle another heart game like last week.

Josh better be ready for fake pressure and zone. I don’t think there is any way they try and play man and cover zero against this offense. All the talk is just gamesmanship.

Despite being the favorite (albeit by a very small margin) most people are picking the Ravens to win this game.

If the weather curtails the passing game, then we’re in trouble; we’re not going beat them in a run contest.

I think we win the game. I think the Ravens are overrated. Look at the cupcake schedule they played this year. Very few quality wins.

Zone?

If the Ravens choose to run zone with three very good CB's on their roster that are capable of playing man I will take that all day long. They better be more afraid of Allen burning them through the air than running the ball.

I'm thinking they beat us by less than 7 points. It all depends on whether the offense shows up, though.

I think the offense will show up. They have for the most part all year. The concern is the defense. We can be gashed pretty easily and this is probably the second best running team in the AFC outside of Cleveland. I would love to be wrong but I think that's gonna be a factor and we lose 38-27.

I am SO pumped up for this game.

Last week was weird. I knew the Bills would win, the game was on early... It didn't feel huge.

This one does.

IMO "showing up" for this offense means scoring at least 30. But of course you're right, the defense needs to be good enough too.

I hope they are dumb enough to think they can play the bills in Man. Josh Allen will eat them alive. Miami has better corners and Josh destroyed them.

I think this game honestly comes down to the last drive of the game. Could be a defensive stop for the team that’s up or a game winning drive. Either way I think this ends as a one position game. I’m going 31-27 Bills. Can’t say if we’ll have the game winning drive or big defensive stop.

Often this year when we've faced run-specialist offenses the Bills have done a good enough job of selling out against the run and forcing those teams to pass. Against Tennessee for example the issue was Tannehill carving us up. Even last week until the 4th Quarter the run D was good enough, Rivers just made some clutch third down throws. I think we'll slow their designed run plays well enough (Lamar scrambling is another story). What I'm most curious is if Lamar can get by feeding Andrews all day (assuming White can shut down Brown).

I'm personally far more wary of Andrews than Brown.

Brown isn't even the type of guy you need Tre to lock down all game long IMO. If he has an impact it's a chunk play either where something broke down on D, or he just burned whoever was covering him with pure speed.

I've been really disappointed with him this season (drafted him in fantasy). You can argue he doesn't get the opportunities in the Ravens scheme but he hasn't shown any of his promise. Lets hope that trend continues tonight.

Game will come down Josh Allen, he goes, the Bills go. I have a healthy respect for The Ravens but I think the game is the Bills game to lose. Think they will be better than last week, need to be to beat Baltimore. But I think they will get it done.

Where has the jet sweep been? I feel like we haven’t used it at all in the last 10 weeks.
