Almost every thread involving Makar is full of posts discounting him because of the Colorado supporting cast.
The funny thing is that Makar actually scores points at a higher rate with Mackinnon on the bench than with him on the ice. With Mackinnon on the ice he is in a deferring role, the virtuoso stuff doesn't come out until Kadri and Compher's lines hit the ice.
