Right handed puck mover. played 20 games in the NHL last year. i think this is a low-risk signing with the potential to be a very good one if given the chance

It's a two-way deal, so it's more likely he goes to Hartford to start the season. I don't see a problem.

Someone mentioned Greeley connection, thats a very good point. He played at BU, Greeley knows him intimately.

Right shooting defenseman who put up 59 pts in 70-something games in the AHL 2 years ago. Former 2nd rd pick of the Blackhawks.

I have no idea why he's bounced around so much the last two years, but I like the profile for sure. Heck of a lot better to roll the dice on a guy like this than to sign a Raffi Diaz, IMO.

Young guy--handles the puck well--some NHL experience. I really like the guy Pittsburgh got--Stuart Percy--a little better. About the same age though. I'd rather keep away from guys who have hit 30 or long term contracts for guys in their late 20's.

My one major exception for the age thing would have been Frans Nielsen. I think he's still got a bunch of productive years left.
