George didn't really change the dynamic of the team, replacing Semin with Ribs.

The Semin haters should soon hate Ribeiro, right? Lazy, slacker, bad egg, dumb penalties.

If George had changed the dynamic of the team, gotten two bulldog 2b/3a line guys at 3M each, maybe that would have had a bigger impact on the team.

We replaced an elite and somewhat scrappy winger with an elite and somewhat short tempered center. Who is getting setup to walk for nothing.

Right ..people who hated Semin should hate Ribeiro...alot of similairities. Semin's penalties were at least the result of trying to do too much. Rebeiro's constant beetching is getting tiring. IMO he cost us that game vs the Isles. We had the momentum and would have killed off the initial penalty (it was a bad call in all fairness..I don't think Tavares got hit at all with that stick)

I don't think the roster is a total disaster however. No need to apply dynamite or anything.

Call me crazy but it seems Jeff Schultz has regressed...I didn't think that was possible due to his already impressive suckery.

Oates changing things up................

Matt Hendricks – Nicklas Backstrom – Alex Ovechkin

Eric Fehr – Marcus Johansson – Troy Brouwer

Jason Chimera / Mathieu Perreault – Mike Ribeiro – Joel Ward

Wojtek Wolski / Aaron Vopatti – Jay Beagle – Joey Crabb

Karl Alzner - Tomas Kundratek

Jeff Schultz - John Carlson

Cameron Schilling - Steve Oleksy

Ribeiro surely will want to stay now.

He played great with Ward and Chimera to start the season, don't see a problem.

They might use those 3 as scoring lines.. well there's no 'might' in it as any line with Ribs in it is no shutdown line. He's still there on pp so doubt he's he's minutes would drop that much.

I don't know if two more Joel Wards/Troy Brouwers would change much.

This team needs an identity change from the top down IMO.

Maybe someone like Kunitz? Someone not afraid to cross check a goalie that is standing on his head, in the head . Or his teammate pig nose.

Our guys are more likely to win the Masteron or Byng.

Wait, is that MJ I see at Center? Nailed it! I thought he should have been there for the 3rd period last night but whatever.

The roster isn't a disaster, we just need to make some tweaks.

If the Caps lose 2 of the next 3(@CAR/@BOS/vs.BUF), I think the season is over.

There are only a few players that are even trade-able for a rental.

I would only look to trade Ribiero, and maybe Fehr(but would like to resign him). Maybe Hendricks for a late pick, but thats about it. And if some team really had depleted D, Poti for a late pick. Chim maybe for a 3rd/4th.

Its even doom and gloom when it comes to the TDL.
