Good for him. Switzerland is a great place to play in Europe. Very short road trips, good salaries and a beautiful country, especially great for someone with a family if they join him.

Good for him. That could be a really cool experience at this stage of his life. I am jealous.

Nice. Good for him. That would be a pretty sweet gig without all that extra money. He's living the high life.

Swiss league sounds like a pretty good gig. If I'm remembering correctly, your housing is paid for by the league. They were never on my radar until a Badger player, Jordy Murray, bailed early to join the league.

Much better decisions than retiring and getting drunk every day.

Ah yes, the plight of the 33-year-old millionaire. Get drunk or play hockey.

But now that I think about it, most of these guys are legitimately that boring after not having any life or interests outside of hockey since they were teenagers.

That’s awesome for Abby, glad he found a job. I also have to say I’m also pleasantly surprised that this thread went in the direction it did.

You mean the well-wishing and general good vibes? I still can't stand that scrub.
