Wolanin scores into a yawning cage on an odd-man rush and it's a tie game.

Aaaaand it's 2-1 Barracuda. Raska.

Raska draws a tripping penalty to Di Giuseppe and the Cuda will get the game's first power play.

Good kick save far side by Kupsky on Bordeleau on this PK.

Another great save by Kupsky, this time on Eklund. Agozzino made a great spin pass right to Eklund in front of the net and Kupsky had to be sharp.

41-28 d pair is horrible. kannok constantly trying to pressure guys above the faceoff circles. Lucky it didn't lead to a couple of goals.

Period ends with Kupsky making a save on another chance for Raska.

2-1 Barracuda. Shots were 9-8 for the Barracuda as well.

I only saw one shift but what I saw was that Raty goes straight to the net and knows how to fade into the soft spaces in that area. Too bad PDG didn't even look at him and just missed the net completely.

What's your take on Kupsky? Worth an AHL deal at this point?

Don't want to say too much as I didn't see either goal against. He made some nice saves so far though.

At least Kupsky actually protects passes from behind the net which is rare these days. He got unlucky though and had to make an unlikely paddle save.

My first time seeing Woo. He's a pretty low event guy but I see he's playing with Wolanin so that's their best pair.

I see the tools though, he skates well and so far is the best at holding the blue line. Mostly good gap control and I like that he hustles to try to be where Wolanin expects him.

But then he made a decisive quick up which was great but he killed the possession by not being there for the pass back from the forward. Possibly he'll never develop on the offensive side but at least he passes well (this game).

So yeah lots of work to do still but I definitely see some flashes of his potential.

Hoglander looks like he is blazing fast at this level but it's obvious he is missing a lot of details in his game. I think he needs to slow the game in his mind. Seems like he is just going full bore but he makes questionable decisions in part because he's playing too quickly.

Woo made a bad pinch but hustled all the way back to break up a prime scoring chance. But he created it in the first place.

Podkolzin races to a loose puck and makes a power move to the net but shovels it wide.

Oh geez. Podkolzin makes a great play to backcheck and nullify a Barracuda odd man rush but injures Kupsky in the process. Trainers on the ice now and Silovs is drawing in.

Podz with a great power move to the net but couldn't get anything on the shot.

Then Podz made a great backcheck which was necessary because Juulsen chased a hit at the center ice line. Unfortunately he collided with Kupsky who was playing well.

The Canucks obviously did a favour for DiPietro to get him a better opportunity but they certainly weren't helping themselves as there's no goalie depth to speak of to cover a situation like this. As it is Kupsky has been with Abbotsford on a PTO and not even signed to an AHL contract.

I think already you see the Clark influence on Silovs both good and bad. I think the three stance system is good, and you can see Silovs use it.

On the other hand I see Silovs going down into post integration as soon as the puck goes into the corner. Then he stays down. I'm not a fan of that.

I think they said Kupsky was like a 2015 draft and Dell has been around forever, you can see they hold their edges much more than Canucks goalies.

Silovs also has that unconscious lean towards his post. If your system is to go to the post at a certain point (the "trackdown"), it's natur to try to find the post early as it becomes a bit of a security blanket.
