As far as the D'agostini/Megna situation goes, I find it quite interesting that the moment Bennett gets back into the lineup, Megna is scratched.

It's like if there were two young forwards in the lineup Bylsma would explode.

I hope Jokinen-Sutter-D'Agostini isn't the 3rd-line in the sense that it's probably the easiest 3rd-line to play against in the NHL and would be completely unable to generate any type of cycle or controlled offensive play.

These are the games that the Penguins lose. Their bullcrap attitude as well as coaching errors makes them take teams like the Flyers, Rangers, Islanders, and Panthers softly. The Flyers suck, but they are still a professional team. The Penguins best game between the Flyers best game would result in a 10-0 win for the Pens. The problem is they refuse to play to their potential in these games. This is a game where Letang makes a ton of turnovers and Malkin doesn't have any hustle. It takes us playing a team like the Blackhawks, Bruins, etc. to see any effort and a solid win. The problem there is that we beat them in the regular season and Dapper Dan refuses to change anything, so they have any strategy we have figured out.

No these are the games that teams Luke Philly get pumped up for. They play with intensity and it frustrates our CC stars which makes them take the penalties, try to do too much on their own, not hustle, etc. We have tough times in games like these.

Officially certified ********* Ray Emery gets the start tonight, as per Shelly Anderson (who retweeted a Philly writer). On the one hand that's good news because he sucks. On the other hand, that kind of ruins the "We ran into a hot goaltender" excuse already.

So going to the game tonight.

Because it is the Flyers, and in Big Mac's honor, I have decided to 'Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo' all night.

Emery in is probably good news for you guys. The hot goaltender theory goes out the window for the Flyers because Mason has played exceptionally well this year, but still sports a losing record (goal support is severely lacking).

The Flyers have only scored three goals or more three times this year, so put up three on Emery and the Pens are probably good. We're hoping the boys have turned the corner during the past couple of games, but this is a good time to test the Flyers against a team like Pittsburgh.
