Don’t see the hawks signing anyone.
Bowman was pretty adamant about going young.
With Dach being injured my guess is they just roll Toews, strome, Wallmark and Kampf as centers until Dach returns and adjust from there.

if they wanted haula I think they would have already signed him. chicago was one of the few teams sitting with cap space for FAs as well as sizeable amounts of LTIR eligible contracts with shaw and smith

Hawks don't need a center. We got Toews already, Strome can easily play 2C, Wallmark 3C, and Kampf back at 4C.

Dach's injury just means one of these guys won't be playing wing to start, but they are all natural centers so no big deal.
