Nesterov with a really bad pinch on the second goal... Not sure the coaching staff is thrilled with that.

Can't see why they'd keep Koekkoek around unless he has a legit shot to make the team. Maybe someone can correct me on that, or give me a different angle. With Point, I can understand if they want him around NHLers for awhile, much like Guds a couple of years back. Or maybe there's some other reason there too. But with Koekkoek, you'd think they'd want him with the Crunch.

He's better then Nesterov so he'll be the first in if there's an injury.

Well technically Koek2 should have a shot to make the team but for the reasons we know he'll have to wait for a trade/injury to become a regular. In the end though, if he's not ready yet, he's getting real close, so it's time for him to get used to this level hence keeping him with the big club as long as possible.

Nesterov is a different case, he has PP specialist and trigger happy written all over his face, he fits a palpable need on the team, so I can see Coop' instantly making room for him (11Forward/7dmen group).

Pure speculation though, they both could be sent down it wouldn't surprise me.

Really wish we could just send Carle out of here and give Koekkoek the spot. Or Carle just becomes worth the 5 mil we paid for him. That would be nice. Highly unlikely though.
