For some inexplicable reason I think this is the year we win it. The only other time I felt THIS good going into the season we got all the way to the SCF. I personally thought we'd get as far as the ECF and lose in 6 but we almost won it all. And yet every year since then it just felt off and every year since then we've failed. I have no rational explanation as to how and why I felt like I did going into those years. It'll be interesting to see if my gut proves me right this year because I'm not the type who would ever come out and say "We're gonna win it all" fingers crossed

I think the teams are too. The league has rules that require a certain amount of veteran players to dress for a pre-season game.

That being said, I'd expect the younger guys to take on the bulk of minutes tonight and have all the energy. One, because they're playing for a spot, and two because they've been doing the camp circuit for a while now and should be more game-ready than the vets.

I'm looking forward to hear about this game tomorrow since I won't be able to watch it. But I am really excited that the new season is about to start.
