Sid is trying to drag the Pens into the playoffs by himself. It won't be enough, but it's a heroic effort. 15 points in 6 games as a 37-year old is nuts. The odds are against it, but with this effort, he may get within spitting distance of 100 points for the season after all.

Sid best player on the ice tonight and players know he still is great player. Lots of good players but there is only one Sid. Sid plays every game and just thinks the game at a level very few ever have.

It's paradoxical, because Sid should be the engine that makes the power play work, so I think he deserves at least partial blame for how bad it's been. But at the same time, I have to think it's mostly a coaching issue rather than a primarily player-related issue.
