No game tonight. You’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the excitement.

Looking forward to see Friedman.

We have so many young d-men at this point, I'd almost be surprised if there aren't any moves this summer.

Hagg has been on 3rd pairing duty for four months now. Myers as a rookie has averaged almost as much TOI as Hagg since he came up. Going back down to bolster the Phantoms while Friedman make his NHL debut means nothing when it comes to next season.

Haag had 4 more mins than Myers in last nights slaughter, this is a move to get Friedman in and Myers was most likely to be scratched tomm, has nothing to do with the Phantoms.

And they didn't treat it as a let down because they got to play meaningful hockey. The Phantoms haven't been eliminated yet.

Myers was going back down on Sunday anyway. They just moved it up by a couple of days. They put him on the AHL roster at the deadline for this specific reason.

So Phil Myers is expected to single-handedly carry the Phantoms into the playoffs, eh? Isn't that just swell. "Hey, thanks for being an exciting part of this end to the season with the Flyers, Phil. Please grab your gear and get back on an AHL bus before we play our last game at home."
Sam Morin 2.0. Why risk and injury to a good young Dman playing for the f***ing Calder cup?

You spoke to both players? Interesting.

If playing “meaningful” games is the most important thing, why not just leave Friedman down too?

Whole lotta meh in the Freidman/Myers move.

Sucks for Phil, good for Mark. It's one game, and a meaningless one in that.

Myers will be a mainstay next year, so this doesn't matter.
