[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

We didn't play a full 60.
They didn't get a lot of looks there in the third, but the ones they did, they cashed in on them.
We have to make sure we don't let this happen again and be better next game.
- Eric Staal

I'm disappointed. This is a game we should win.
We played really well in the 2nd and set ourselves up for a strong finish here in the 3rd, but a couple of mistakes cost us.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We made a couple of mistakes that they were able to capitalize on.
Before that, we had a couple of opportunities where we could have gotten a two-goal lead where we didn’t capitalize.
At the end of the day, it has a lot more to do with our first period.
- Alain Vigneault

I don't know if Buffalo can beat the Rangers...but I sure know that they don't.

So the question guys is should we "tank" to the wild #1 spot or should we try to actually Build consistency and maybe win 4 of the last 5 games? I believe the isles have a tough schedule so for us to drop to wild card we probably have to lose 3 or 4 of last 5.

I'm going to the game! First game I'm going to at MSG since they played Minnesota in December of 2013.

Crazy because when I was in high school I went to at least 20 games a year because my Dad still had our season tickets.

Well at least 2 of those games are garunteed losses.

Can't wait to see how they manage to lose this one.

I'll give you a hint... it involves being up by a certain margin in the 3rd period and then losing in a most embarrassing manner while our defense looks horrendous while the forwards play "prevent".

Happy to see him back. I was genuinely afraid, that he was actually out for the season, and the team is witholding information as usual.

But as understood months ago, AV won't play him anyhow.

Lindberg is also scratched. Unfortunately Glass is actually playing well these last weeks. A forward depth issue, in a sense that we have too much, isn't a bad thing right?

The 4th line is actually good i wouldn't mess with it. However I'd swap Lindberg for Fast for a couple of games.

I swap him with Hayes before Fast. Outside of the Pitt game, Hayes has been awful for a while now and doesn't really play special teams, where Fast is a PK guy. I think Lindberg-Staal-Fast is a much better line and definitely a faster and better skating line.

Zuke likes to play Buffalo, just hoping he can avoid Big Buff looking to run him down...
