[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I guess there are certain things that happen as a player, you don’t really know how you’ll react.
You don’t know what the emotions will be until you experience it. What specific emotion I’ll be experiencing, I’m not really sure.
- Eric Staal

The last three overtimes, that’s the way we’ve been beat.
It’s tough to defend sometimes when they throw it around top and you get a deflection like that, but overall it was a good hockey game.
I felt like we played well, they played well. There was good speed to it, good energy. It’s just disappointing to lose.
I don’t know what to say, it was a tough bounce there.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I thought Haysie’s line was real good tonight. They generated the most of our opportunities and scoring chances.
I thought Kevin, Eric and Jesper had a real good night. We got a point and we’ll get ready for the next game.
- Alain Vigneault

Don't see this team falling out of the running for top-3 in the Metro to get in that cozy #1 wildcard spot.

With that being the case, holding on to 2nd place becomes that much more important.

I'd be pretty shocked if we lost. You would think Eric is going to come out and completely dominate this one.

Hat trick and he's going to dump Jordan on his butt on open ice.

"I did it to Marc, so I can do it to you."

Count it.

Should be a good night for Zucc, loves playing against Carolina. Just put up a 3 point game, and break 60 and be finished with it :)

It stinks because we want the team to play well and finish on a high note and go into the playoffs playing well, however we will be rewarded by having to play the Penguins in the 1st round and then the Capitals in the second.

If we sucked and dropped to the 1st wildcard, we'd get the 2 of Bolts/Wings/Bruins/Panthers in the 1st 2 rounds.

All 4 of those teams are worse than the Pens IMO.

He feasts on Toronto, Carolina and Florida.

We need a good rebound game from Zucc and this is the perfect time to get back on track.

Sam: Staal with the pucks stalls up, passes back to Staal. Holds. Fires back to Staal. Staal gives away the puck. Oh boy, Joe good takeaway by Staal. Staal carries up the ice, hit by Stalberg.

Joe: The Rangers really miss Stoll's faceoff ability.
