Interesting how the team consistently outscores the opposition when Frost is on the ice.

Do busts normally do that
Of all 14 forwards who have played at least 300 minutes at 5v5 this year, Frost has the 3rd best expected goals against per 60. He's behind only Giroux and Couturier.

The defensive issues are lies and fabrications. Neither the eye test nor the stats back up those claims.

He's also 4th best in shot attempts against (behind Giroux, Couturier, and TK) and 3rd best in actual goals against per 60.

So literally nothing supports the delusional claim that he's problem anywhere on the ice. It's exclusively stereotypes and agendas.

And his defensive diligence was on display in preseason. So even if someone were obsessed with fitting roles, he should have been in the bottom six somewhere.

Yeah, he's made tons of really good defensively plays that show his high IQ all over the ice. Obviously comparing him to Giroux would be extreme, but there's a similar element to their games.

He's done more than enough to earn his spot and appreciation from any objective fan who wants good players on the team.

Team is really missing Risto. Softest team in the NHL right now. Chuck needs to move out the lightweights and bring in some players with size that can skate and aren’t scared to use their body

Zamula played better, some nice outlet passes, but also a turnover where he was just physically beat. I think if he starts next year, it needs to be on the 3rd pair, with a physical partner, but Attard doesn't seem to be ready. Risto if they extend Sanheim and Ellis returns, with York paired with Ellis? Zamula is the kind of guy you let work his way into bigger minutes as he gets stronger and more experienced.

Frost is OK, but anyone who thinks he belongs in the top 6 of a real team right now is delusional, and no, he's not a high IQ player.
Cates is a better player than Frost, and he's all of 3 months older.
Tippett is also 3 months older than Frost.
Farabee is 9 months younger than Frost.
Brink is almost 2 years younger.

The top priority should be an under 25 player with 1C/2C potential.
The second priority should be an under 25 RHD.
The third, an under 25 LW with speed.

Hung out to dry like every other goalie.
Also has a mediocre glove, flat out missed one goal, and deflected another into the net.
I'm not sure he's a quality NHL backup right now, definitely not a quality starter.
We need to smuggle Fedotov out of Russia.

Farabee will probably be with Couts next year. TK at RW
Lindblom - Hayes - Brink
I'd like to see Cates - Frost - Tippett, I think Frost is best with speed on his wings playing up tempo.
Willman - Laughton - Allison (Laczynski when he gets hurt)

Down the road, Desnoyers - Laughton - Wisdom could be a heck of a 4th line.

16th instead of 15th in the conference no doubt. Goals may be important, hitzzz are importanter

I thought Hayes said Yandle was the one helping this team succeed.

It must be Macewen keeping us from 15th instead of 16th in the conference and Yandle keeping us at 29th instead of 32nd in the league.

Hope we can find the cap space to keep both next season to have a shot at Bedard.
