[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

When I signed, we already had seven D it looked like. I had to earn my spot.
Early on I just kind of wanted to get in as many games as I could. Once I got into a regular routine, I was really hungry.
Instead of just making sure I didn’t make mistakes, I was hoping to score every game and I evolved. It’s been a successful year for me personally, I think.
- Dylan McIlrath

It was great to see the way we responded as a group after last game.
It also shows how much focus to details, determination, how much it can change the look out there.
Going from last game to this game, it’s like two different teams sometimes.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I thought our guys came out real prepared, focused, and had a real strong first period.
The only mistake in the first two periods that stands out was Marc’s turnover there that led to a flurry in front of our net.
Other than that I really like the way we were playing defensively, the way we were keeping this game at a high pace, and getting some good looks offensively.
- Alain Vigneault

I know it's not a bobblehead. But the Rangers should listen to Yandles advice anyway when it comes to Bobblehead Night...

Henrik Lundqvist has a .934 save percentage, which is the best against any opponent in his NHL career.

We have 3 Massachusetts natives on the team: Keith Yandle, Kevin Hayes and Chris Kreider. Boston only has 2 in Frank Vatrano and Jimmy Hayes.

Rangers win at home at over 70% clip. Boston wins away at over 70% clip.

Fun.

Girardi will continue to live his consequence free life.

What is sitting him gonna do? It's not gonna make him a good skater who doesn't get burned, all of a sudden. He never was a good skater.

He is what he is, at this point. I just wish he was on someone else's team.

He should sit because he sucks, and it should be every game.

I am happy we still have the advantages of DST. We switch to DST this weekend. Luckily a regular 1 AM game tonight

The last time we won a game on March 23rd, was in 1996, when we beat the Boston Bruins 5-4.

We lost to the Sabres in 2012 (1-4)
We lost to the Penguins in 2004 (2-5)
We lost to the Capitals in 2000 (1-4)

I was kind of annoyed that one of the only times I get to watch games at a semi reasonable hour, they're on a West Coast trip, now playing at 8:00 to negate the effect of DST.

But then I don't feel like I've been missing much. I got to see the Sharks game, after all.

it amazes me how you always come up with those tidbits.

also that bruins 3rd line is nothing to sneeze at.

I am just a weird dude. There's a Rangers Facebook group where they call me "Statboy" haha. I just started thinking about games on this date and went as far back to when we last won a game. It amazed even me I had to go back 20 years and to top it all off, that win was against tonight's opponent!
