Did you hear Emrick say that the Penguins had trouble drawing 11,000 people in 1980 (approx.) but had 37,000 the last two days? Basically he was challenging their devotion to the team: win and we will come, lose and we don't care.

It's probably not the case since it's built on feels, but it feels to me like Couts has outright beaten goalies more this year than in the past. He always had an accurate shot, but it's been a shot goalies have been able to read. Perhaps, maybe, his release has improved.


Or nothing has changed, who can really say.
