Perfect way to knock any confidence out of a guy; for every solid play, don't let him get a sniff of extra ice time, then bench him altogether for an imperfect pass. Whatever. One or both of Nolan/Hodgson will hopefully be gone soon and end this lame crap.

FYI, Grigorenko & Des were benched for the balance of the 2nd too. They've simply been allowed back into the ice first (and presumably for more in the 3rd).

EDIT: and for the irony of it, it just happens to be the two guys let out of the dog house first who end up down another goal, lol.

Only Yakupov has played on a team even close to being as bad as Buffalo.

And?

He's been garbage in literally ever game except that one game against the Islanders two years ago. He is strong enough to play out here and is one of the biggest guys, his compete level is atrocious.

Moulson just bought his time on top line for the rest of the year.

TO be fair they find;t do anything to cause the scoring chance. It was a shot block by Tootoo leading to a 1 on 1 between him and Weber and he won it and scored.

Whereas Hodgson made a poor choice with his pass to Des that led to a goal. Thus the benching. It may be harsh but he did do something that led to a goal. He should have taken the puck deep along the wall. Then either go to the net with it or look for someone crashing the net for a pass.

in LITERALLY every game?

You sure about that? He's produced in juniors and in the AHL. And that's because he wasn't playing on a putrid team.

given Hodgson's struggles I'd wager he has heard "don't give it away at the blue line 20-30 times this season, he should be benched everytime he does
