Had to walk a bit slower than usual because there’s not a lot of foot support, and you can feel the rocks you step on :laugh:

It’s beyond me why people wear these things as actual shoes. Maybe they’re all just tiny.

I love Vans but the foot support could be better. You walk around long enough and your feet are dying. "Insert add of Dr Shols"

Part of it is nostalgia. I got my first pair of Vans when I was about 7 or 8. They were red with red and white laces (old skool--not old skool then!). After high school I didn't wear another pair for a long time and now occasionally wear them. Yeah, they're not that comfortable, but inserts with arch supports help. Same with Converse All Stars (like walking on planks).
