Cronin’s system basically relies on multiple forecheckers in with speed (which we don’t have) and the defensemen coming way up the wall on pinches to hold the zone (but they don’t disrupt zone exits and the forwards don’t rotate into the vacated areas. Just hemorrhaging odd-man rushes

Think I said it earlier this year, but Brent Thompson is very lucky that much of my ire is focused on Newell Brown because the PK is MUCH worse statistically. 68 goals allowed shorthanded including tonight
