Good win...but there's absolutely no explanation and reason that Laughton and Cousins should've only got 8/9 mins of time today. I know Laughton fought but that's still way too low for the two of them considering how well they've played the past couple of weeks

If Manning doesn't play this game I think we at least eliminate 1 goal from them. He was the major soft spot this game, as always.

Gonna have to stick with Neuvirth against the Flames.

Manning playing only 12 minutes tells me that his inclusion in the lineup is coming from higher up than Hakstol.

At least Laughton's starting to get more consistent, not even talking points wise just doing little things right & not getting killed out there.

Scott is starting to play his game more, a harder game. It's good to see our young forwards taking a larger part that G now Jake were out for some games. I am really happy that Streit had a big game(So is Ron for that matter).

You have to think playing wing and having less to worry about defensively is helping him. He's really showing his speed on the wing. At center on the 4th line it was mostly wasted.

Pens got 2 quick goals. Looks like we'll be 3 back again. We really have to win against these upcoming average teams.

Just got home. Fun game.

Giroux had some nice backchecks.

Containing OEL is hard. He's that good. Domi got off that nice pass for the goal, but otherwise the mistakes the Flyers made didn't cause trouble for them.

Some of the calls were pretty weak, especially in person. One of those hooks was literally a tap on the glove.

Was the missed hook on Ghost (in the 3rd?) as blatant as on TV, or was it just the feed making it look worse?

Thanks for the review. OEL is incredible, he's a real special piece to build around. I'd love to have him here.

The Ghost hook in front of the net is what I'm guessing you're referring to. Yeah, it was a good call by the refs. He tugged his upper shoulder with the stick pretty spot on. Took him off balance.
