The fact that anyone defends Torts is embarrassing

Oh so Nicky D’s lazy turnover in the d zone this period isn’t punishable because it didn’t lead to a goal, just a prime scoring chance. It’s selective accountability bullshit and actively sabotaging the teams chances at winning,

Noooooooooo. He is a vet who fights and is a try hard

And he’s also part of the core

Try and keep up

Did you see the Sharks' 2nd goal? It was TK and Hayes' line that was responsible for an absolutely pathetic shift and the goal against. They're supposed to be the top two forwards in the lineup, so if they are going to give an embarrassing effort like that they are going to bear the brunt of the coach's ire.

This is part of the raised standards Torts is trying to implement, which is what this season is all about. He's not trying to lose the game. He *is* trying to teach the team that laziness won't be tolerated.
Surely you aren't on board with the idea that short term losing is sometimes necessary for long term winning. That is the exact thing you complain about incessantly.

Deslauriers is awful. Provorov has had a really bad one too, back in last season's prime form.

Keep it up boys, just gotta hold on for the last few. This is a big L against an important team you'll be jockeying with in the standings all season.

Ah yes, another brilliant point by you. Because intentionally trying to be the worst team in the NHL for entire seasons is exactly like benching two players for a single third period.
