Couldn't help but notice this during NJ's PP goal. Yes, it was weak as hell from Peters, but..

Coverage was poor for sure and yes, Peters whiffed on that one. Zajac was Matinook's man, though. Not the encircled three.

Edit: Actually, was it OEL that left him open?

If a coach has the perfect system, but over the course of five or more years demonstrates that he cannot get his collection of players to reliably execute it, does the coach have any responsibility?

There is no perfect system. The winner properly executes a good, or great system more often than the loser.

Of course the coach has responsibility, but does whining about it ad nauseum make a difference? Particularly when most all of us can miraculously agree that DT isn't going anywhere?
