Just having this opportunity is very exciting. Playing with Nash and Kreider like this is pretty unbelievable.
With their speed and their size, we should be able to control down low and hold onto the puck and get some good scoring opportunities.
Playing with Kreids again is obviously awesome. We succeeded in college hopefully that turns over to this game, too.

If they’re looking for a guy, you want to play and you want to prove you belong.
I’ve been through this a number of years now, up and down where every game counts.
I know it’s cliché, but you’ve got to take advantage of every opportunity you get and prove you belong here for the whole year.

This has everything to do with what I talked about at the start, when he’s going to be in our lineup, we’d like Duclair to be in our top 9.
I don’t think he’s going to play every game, that’s where we are right now. Yes he’s a young player, he needs to play but we’ve played 5 games in 8 nights.
It’s a pretty good learning curve for a young player. So I feel for this next game against SJ that the 12 other forwards right now give us a chance to win.
Not saying with Anthony we wouldn’t, just saying for this game this is what I feel is best for the team.
