And the Lords of thrash said,
Speak to the congregation of Lightning and instruct them the following.
Build for us a pyre of maple with its leaves for tinder.
It shall be of four corners all in one piece.
Each corner will be a like a Stanley Cup.
Place into the pyre the panther that was slain and offer it as a burnt offering and fill its blood into the four corners of the pyre.
Do this in remembrance of your triumph against your rivals.
And do this in remembrance of your deliverance in the 6th game when you called out to us for aide and were answered.
Do this in praise and in eternal remembrance of your victory.
And behold, we are sending an adversary with a great shield to come against you and destroy you.
For final victory comes only at the cost of blood, whether it is yours or his.
Is this way of war not known to you?
Did the prophet David not write that peace would be bought by no one at any price?
And have you not thrice triumphed against all of your foes?
You are to take about your wings and travel to the city of the 11th state and meet him.
Do not delay and meet him without fear and apprehension.
Do not forsake us or give into despair.
For the inevitable losses of this conflict will be met with dismay and tears.
They will seek comfort and find none.
They will seek food drink and not be satisfied.
They will seek for time to heal this wound and the scar will remain.
They will scream and we will not hear them.
They will ask us why and we will not answer.
But remember this always: those who abide in our spirit will be forever met with joy. And with the sound of music.
