They just won't stop pumping the tires of that overpaid 4th liner.

Next thing they'll be pointing out that he's one of 6 Flyer forwards scoring at 2+ P/60 at 5on5.

Player Season Totals - Natural Stat Trick

Laughts is ok, I did not know his scoring rate stats were that good. What's crazy is he is a player that seems to miss the net on a lot of shots, so his rates could be even higher if his shot was a little more accurate. Either way, very serviceable lower line-up player

Gee, I wonder if never getting to play with Couturier might affect Laughton's Corsi Rel. Let's look at another middle six winger who does get to play with Coots sometimes.

Farabee

PDO 5on5: 100.1

5on5 xGF%: 44.98%

5on5 Corsi For Rel: -1.72%

CF% With Couturier: 53.14%

CF% Without Couturier: 48.61%

We will win this game cause this team is above .500

Sure would’ve been nice to have Frost be the 3C for this one....

I will settle for the flyers being competitive this game. As long as they come to play and keep it close, I can deal with being beaten by a good bolts team.

Getting blown out is not acceptable.

if we can manage a point or two and take the cbj games...we can essentially distance ourselves from them. Huge opportunity with jones out and maybe atkinson as well. Have to at least win the first home game against cbj and put pressure on them big time. We are a great spot right now.

going to be interesting to see what the standings look after tonight. 3 teams we are in the hunt with for playoffs are facing non playoff teams. Mtl and nyr are decent so hopefully they can steal a game

as for patrick...apparently he is really increasing the intensity of his workouts. The hope is he can get cleared for contact within the next few weeks. This can be huge. If we can integrate him and frost into the lineup we can be so deep. Most likely, they will not play frost which would suck but heres what our bottom 6 could look like:

jvr-frost-pitlick
raffl/laughton-patrick-nak

it will probably be this:

jvr-laughotn-pitlick
raffl-patrick-nak

with patrick eventually taking over 3c if he can get cleared

It is if it happens consistantly, but I don't think they are at that level yet
Oh yeah, if it's happening often then it's a cause for concern, but we've been pretty hot lately (with the exception of a few stinker periods) so if we get destroyed tomorrow I'm not worried. Annoyed maybe, depending on what goes wrong, but not worried.

So long as it doesn't lead to a downward spiral, we're still in good shape.

Poor Bunnaman, still no respect.
last 13 games: CF 51.85%, xGF 57.15%, HDCF 62.07%
CFrel -1.88, xGFrel +5.00, HDCFrel +9.00

It's starting to look real.
Now he's limited, he's not a playmaker or big goal scorer, but he must be doing something right.
And it's not like he's being carried by top 6 wingers, NAK and Raffl are playing OK, but they're not like playing with Couts.
