There's a difference though between playing cautious and turtling up.

Yes, you look to make safer plays, but you still have to keep the pressure up and go for the dagger. That's the killer instinct good teams have: when they have you down for the count, they don't wait for the bell, they finish you.

That's Bylsma's stupidity. Eichel and Kane for instance should never chip and chase except as a last resort--you're negating their best attributes, their ability to skate and fly by defenders WITH the puck. A guy like Des or Grant? Absolutely. But the guys on this team that can skate, you let them skate.
