That was a good 3rd, they got the lead, went 1-2-2 but they still attempted to carry the puck/play when it was there...not much to complain about tonight other than the end of 2nd disaster

The Sabres would be dead last in that category for sure.

Good win. First 15 minutes of 2nd period were impressive, and we moved the puck well for once. Though a lot of shots were given up (again)

Giving up 14 shots in a 6 minute span while getting 0 the other way will do that for you

Old timers remember 40+ years ago when Bert did this and NOBODY had a problem with it at all!

Different game, different era but Jack has a few of the same qualities that Gilbert had and frankly, I'd let him play his game.

I don't think this paints an accurate picture. Outside of that breakdown at the end of the 2nd and good ol' score effects at the end, this was a pretty even game.

It's a rare quality. You remember how fans would get up out of their seats when Perreault would begin his wind up in his own zone. I'm sitting on the couch at home now but Eichel gives me that same feeling when he's on his game....

The difference right now is that Burt was almost ALWAYS on his game! But Jack is young and he will get more consistent as he matures
