Back reading the GDT I came across a hilarious comment saying he was indescribably bad defensively tonight, and the anti-Ghost in that respect. Of course the possession numbers from the game tell the exact opposite story. Ghost is already an incredible points machine, but he's not yet a dman you can put in any situation and except him to break even in shot attempts.
Context pal. That comment was mine and it was specifically related to the fact that Macdonald conceeds the zone far too often. There were several situations where it was a 2 on 2, 1 on 2 or even 1 on 3 where Macdonald continuously backed into the zone essentially gifting the Devils a scoring chance. Ghost has shown he isn't afraid to challenge the opposition upon zone entry. Hence the anti Ghost comment.
