Opening possession is so important in OT. Dickinson looked like he was going to win the draw but Johansen tied him up and ended up winning it.

Then for some reason Dickinson left his man to help Miro in the corner. If there are two players on the guy with the puck then someone is open.

I mean, we took a team that is a Cup contender to OT and beat them a couple games ago.

Can't complain really. Just need to keep up the play and Nill needs to get us some more help.

On the bright side I like our chances against the Preds if we end up against them in the first round. They dont seem as good as the last few years. Obviously things can change, but for now I'd rather them then the Jets

Well Dickinson has two OT winners this year and Heiskanen was out before too. Cogs is kinda new . Not sure if he played OT with the DUcks but i don't think Dallas had a game go to OT since he's here.

It's more about how they play . They played very well tonight . If they play well they'll win games. Sounds dumb but its true. The good Stars show up they win games.

huge difference between 5v5 and 3v3

i get what he was going for, but you gotta start your best players in OT. It's comparable to when the Orioles were saving Zach Britton for a save opportunity instead of putting him in to shut down the Blue Jays in the 2016 wildcard
