If they play anything like they did last night, they deserve to lose again.

Rangers hangover, poor excuse. Roll into the playoffs with some pride.

They skated like they want to fall face first into the post season.

I would be surprised if the Isles do not play well tonight, Sabres showed some fight last night, give them some credit. They did not lie down. Better not take them lightly. Would like to see some new faces in tonight too, it's all about prepping for the playoffs right now. Don't care about home ice or not. It's not like arenas are full to capacity.

perhaps Barry sits Barzal for a "breather" Kid will stew all night and come back determined for the playoffs...
If Pageau is ready to go, I would not be against this. It may do some good for Barzal to view a game from up top. A reset can be a positive thing. It also gives The Isles a chance to see what Zajac can do at Center. Something I want to see since wing is not his position, and maybe he can be an option for the playoffs there if the Isles hit on some good line combos.

I was under the assumption Pageau is good to go. I would even sit the 4th line.....get these guys fresh for next week. Dress MDC, Bellows, and whomever.....Gun it out with the Sabres and Devs the next few games....

I checked, he may go tonight. Interesting read of Barzal with and without Lee. He's got to find a way to be better without Lee. He's a driver, he has the talent to do it. Knowing him, he will.

cool stats...Barry and staff need to work on #13 just alittle this week. Kid is a gamer and always steps up. These stats may annoy Barzy and do the trick

I will take your research as accurate. Barzal does look better with Komarov, the stats back that up. I actually copied the stats from a Isles Blog. I think the stats they used are for all left wingers that played with Barzal. Which means off the top of my head, Zajac, Bellows, Bailey, amongst others. By no means did I post them to paint Komarov has been ineffective with playing with Barzal. He has been the best fit since Lee went down.

Houser is feeling good after last night.

Put lots of shots on him early, dim that glow a little bit.

A non-eventful first 30 minutes could get this guy channeling Hasek.
