Injuries and Scratches
8 Kevin Connauton could be a healthy scratch.
13 Kevin Hayes had fluid drained from his adductor region (Jan. 18) then placed on IR (Jan. 21). He could return late next week if he continues to progress (Feb. 24).
14 Sean Couturier was placed on IR (retroactive to Dec. 19). He had season-ending back surgery (Feb. 11).
19 Derick Brassard has soreness due to a nagging hip injury (Feb. 9). He has played three games (Dec. 8; Jan. 6 and Feb. 9) since his original injury in November. He was placed on IR (Feb. 22). He is expected to play (Feb. 25).
44 Nate Thompson suffered a shoulder injury (Nov. 26), had surgery (Nov. 30) and was placed on IR (Dec. 8).
48 Morgan Frost is expected to be a healthy scratch.
55 Sam Morin is on IR due to right knee surgery (Sept.10) and was initially expected out 6-to-8 weeks. He is expected to miss the remainder of the season (Jan. 10).
57 Wade Allison has a sprained MCL (Jan. 22). He was placed on IR (Feb. 21). He has skated but the hope is he can practice next week (Feb. 25).
71 Max Willman is expected to be a healthy scratch.
79 Carter Hart has an eye infection which caused swelling (Feb. 20). He is expected to return Feb. 26 (Feb. 24).

94 Ryan Ellis was re-injured (Nov. 13) and placed on IR (Nov. 16) with a possible hip/groin injury. He was initially expected out 4-to-6 weeks with surgery not required (Nov. 18). Farabee back moves Ratcliffe down, top six are set, with Couts replacing G next season.
All five other than G are scoring > 2 pp/60 ES since Yeo took over.

JVR gets moved in the summer, so bottom six is a mix of Hayes, Frost, Ratcliffe, Allison, Laczynski, Brink, Willman, next season.
Sandin and Hogdson are the wildcards this spring, they may get a chance to win a long look in TC.
With N Cates, Foerster, Wisdom, Desnoyers, Lycksell, McClennon, Sushko in LHV.

Obviously Jimmy Stewart......movie.......color so it ain't Mr Smith Goes To Washington or the Philadelphia Story.........guess either Harvey or Vertigo but by the angle of the shot and the vivid colors....I think Hitchcock's Vertigo.

BTW.......FROST IS NOT PRACTICING ON ANY OF THE LINES...........Brassard has replaced him. Jordan Hall tweet........

Joel Quenneville is a hack disgraced coach, who by happenstance was surrounded by great talent in Chicago. Look what happened to Florida when he resigned: they didn't miss a beat.

As opposed to what, Bill? I would rather be tied to an ant hill than watch Yandle and Provy mishandle the puck a million times a game. I would rather watch York and Hogberg and Zamula mishandle the puck; much more entertaining. Remember Bill, this is no longer a sport but entertainment for the proletarian masses with time on their hands. Blame Bismarck for the 8 hour work day.
