Interesting about Beau and Marchand. On that first goal Marchand took the puck away against the boards like the school yard bully does the weak kid's candy. It got me thinking, Beau actually has a lot of Marchand in his game but the difference is strength. Marchand is uber strong and that's what's missing from Beau's game right now.

Not to mention that Marchand slashed Beau 3 times on the hands to steal the puck, I wonder why Cassidy wasn't crying about that in his presser...

A Bruin laying on the ice literally grabbed and hauled Beau down and that whiny bitch has the gall to complain about not getting calls lol
I don't mind Cassidy trying to work the refs. It's what Trotz was doing when he spoke about Bergeron's faceoff cheating.

Put the idea in the refs heads and see if it doesn't benefit your team later on.

It really does feel like Boston are affronted by the series so far. Like they expected to just waltz past the hapless Islanders.
We are not worthy!
I don't get that from comments from the Bruin players or coaches. They've given the isles props.

There fanbase on the other hand views the isles as a warm up act for the Bruins.

Moving onto Wednesday -

Pageau playing with Beau and Bailey - was Brilliant.
I wonder if he starts with that combo - I trust JGP against that top line.

And for all the Marchand hate - If Beau is ever going to be a top line and elite winger - he should watch Marchand - I hate the piss out of him, but he is a helluva hockey player.

Couldn't agree more. or all the McJesus love out there on the main boards, I'll take that little rat Marchand over him in a heartbeat. Hate him but have real respect.

This game 6 is no sure thing. Take care of business. Don't want to go back to Boston. We haven't had a lot of answers for Marchand and his linemates.

That was his response to Cassidy matching lines and forcing Beau to play opposite Marchand and it worked early in the game. We get final line change so you'll see it less at home.

No one's 100% in the playoffs.
Your goaltender had better be. That's the one position you can't skimp on. Cassidy has 2 other options to Rask. One of them is a veteran who has been through the playoff grind and the other is a rookie who already shut us out once this season.

We are traveling in the footsteps
Of those who've gone before
But we'll all be reunited
On a new and sunlit shore

O when the Saints go marching in
When the Saints go marching in
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

And when the sun begins to shine
And when the sun begins to shine
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

When the moon turns red with blood
When the moon turns red with blood
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

On that hallelujah day
On that hallelujah day
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

O when the trumpet sounds the call
O when the trumpet sounds the call
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

Some say this world of trouble
Is the only one we need
But I'm waiting for that morning
When the new world is revealed

When the revelation comes
When the revelation comes
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

When the rich go out and work
When the rich go out and work
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

When the air is pure and clean
When the air is pure and clean
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

When we all have food to eat
When we all have food to eat
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

When our leaders learn to cry
When our leaders learn to cry
O Lord, I want to be in that number
When the Saints go marching in

Marchand was slashing away at Beauvillier's stick to separate him from the puck. Took 3 whacks at Tito before he got it. Certainly could have been penalized there. The more I look at that play the less inclined I am to fault Beauvillier for anything.

You're right about the comparison though. Similar builds on Marchand and Beauvillier. Marchand has always played a heavy game, doesn't shy away from contact. Beau isn't afraid of that style of play but it isn't a foundation of his game. I think the biggest difference in the 2 is Marchand has a deadly accurate shot. Tito goes through dry spells where he airmails shots.
