Loved the Schneids interview "we got a lot of young talent coming up, maybe we can turn that into a few more national tv games"

I dont know why i found that so funny, but its true. We may have one of the most exciting teams in the league right now.
BAH! Hate national broadcasts, but tonight's was pleasant. We only got Engblom because he works for the Lightning as the color commentator on their local broadcasts. I have a feeling if we played pretty much either of 25-26 other teams, we would have gotten Pierre! Definitely glad we didn't have to hear him.

Hynes has got to use Jesper Bratt in the SO in the future. The kid is a SO specialist and completely unafraid. He even won a national SO competition in Sweden a couple of years ago.

We even have Nico, a top talent with great breakaway talents.
I'm certain Hynes asked him on the bench if he'd be ready to go if needed. Bratt enthusiastically said yes.

We'll see him take one soon I think.

Stafford and Hall both have below average lifetime SO records. Dont understand why he used them, unless he thought it was too much pressure to put rookies out in their first ever SO experience.

Severson and Greene got run over by the Lightning's top line. It wasn't pretty. I haven't seen the advanced stats but I'm expecting something atrocious.

Every team is getting run over by that line. They've been the best line in the league so far.

I thought tonight was Nico's best game of his young career. Too bad he couldn't bury one of his few great chances. He'll break through soon.

A solid character win. I love watching this team, hopefully they keep it going.

Not on the scoresheet but Bratt had a good game and was huge on the final PK to force OT

we cant expect that pace to keep up. but thats all it is.... play smart and he does. its early but we really have a couple gems on our hands.

Did anyone else notice the first Lightning shooter in the shootout appeared to celebrate a goal? I was really thrown off by that, and thought they scored. Even though you could hear the crowd cheer for the non-goal. It just didn't compute at first, due to what looked like a celebration.

And then they showed the slow motion replay and it looked like he put his hands up.

Maybe it was just be but i swear i saw the Ref make the "shucks" arm movement on the bolts first attempt

Hynes was talking to Bratt before the shootout and I thought for sure he was in? Maybe he was saying next time?

Definitely true. Kucherov and Stamkos are 1 and 2 in scoring right now.
The problem they were having is that they were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They were chasing the puck and trying to get to where the puck was as opposed to where it was going. It's like they just threw the defensive structure out the window.

I will chalk it up to a dominate line getting them off their game and move on.
