He really hasn't been healthy all season and not known to be injury prone. Dude just took a mean lower back injury. I've pretty much given him a pass this season. Hopefully he's actually good to go this time around.

Long term those kinds of injuries can linger though...another thing to consider before considering resigning

I don't think we get out of this one with a win.

4-1 Preds

I'm glad after such a terrible painful freak accident causing injury, kulikov is back. I hope he stays healthy and his back isn't too much of a problem.

Could be the ultimate buy low situation we could use to get him locked up long term at a very team friendly deal. That complimentary 2nd line pairing guy. When he played healthy I was all about keeping him here on a 4 year deal until we get some young players coming up to fill his shoes (Guhle, Borgen).

Sabres 5-2. Offensive explosion and Eichel gets his first hatty and the main boards explode with Eichel debate that ultimately leads to Toronto fans commenting about how Matthews is better even though no one brought it up. Thread gets locked after a bevvy of bans

Every thread on the main board eventually becomes a Toronto thread.

Either this team is turning it around after a bad first half.. or they are going on a losing streak right now. They have before when they started playing good..

I wish we could sprinkle Carrier in with Sam/Jack. I know Foligno shouldnt be on the 4th line and the 3rd line has been working well so it would be a hard permanent shift, but Carrier flies around the ice. He has his wtf moments, but with his speed and forechecking I think he could add something to that line Foligno doesnt.

I'll be there tonight. Last two times I've seen them play (out of town, mind you), Reinhart got his first point against SJS, and he scored 2 goals against Nashville last year down here. I'm hoping for a hatty or 3 point night by him. Hoping for another 4-1 win; just want to see another two points come outta this, no matter how they do it.

Not sure how I feel about Kulikov going straight to the top pair after missing nearly a month.
