I can’t fathom how professional coaches watch Wilson and think, “damn we gotta get that dude in our lineup!”

When he tried to do the hockey thing the one time he touched the puck, I couldn’t tell if he was stickhandling or trying to beat an invisible rat to death.

They sorta figured out how to win with a Schultz'less lineup when they had Riiko in and all the F's were healthy. They were still bleeding shots but the goaltending was top notch.

Yeah, there's just certain games where it doesn't look like the Pens can score into a soccer net. Tonight is one of those games (largely because they're not generating anything).

Sharks fan and friendly onlooker here, had to comment on this. Appreciate the kudos but no we don’t. The ‘16 Pens were probably the best team outside of the 2010 blackhawks in the last decade. Still pissed that was our matchup in our first cup appearance while the kings got to face underwhelming rangers and devils teams in their appearances.

The Sharks literally run the two best offensive Dmen in the game for 50 mins a game. Atleast one is on the ice. They could win the cup.

IMO them or Vegas represents the West simply due to the central being a bloodbath between Nash and Winni.

Guys are just flat footed - which makes San Jose look faster than they really are. Can't stand on their feet or puck handle tonight with rare exceptions. Tighten up with more shots on goal and this game looks different.

Apparently for the coaching staff/management to love your game, you don't actually need to have any sort of skill. Just "play the right way" (which apparently means like a 4th line grinder).

One of my friends played in the Asia league for a bunch of years. He played with some former NHLers over there.

Sometimes he would come and play in our beer league for kicks. Its crazy how much better he was than any of us.
