The Kings are same type of team as the on you just beat, no scoring & plagued with injuries.
Dion Phaneuf has 1 point in 38 games. He should retire.

His Slapper is so inaccurate though, he's more likely to hit a ref than even hit the post.
I wanna see Sid skate around him & score & make Phaneuf look like 50 yearold playing a alumni game.

They should have a pre-All Star Skills Comp...Maatta vs Phaneuf from blue line to blue line.

They might finish by Sunday.

and Patrick Eaves will be the referee for that ! .....but then Eaves is injured by the whistle & is replaced by Kesler.....but then Kesler loses grip of the whistle & turns it over to an actual NHL referee.

Hey Medieval Times! My favorite part about eating there was it was my going away discharge from the military gathering. I was at the Arundel Mills one in MD when I lived in DC. That place has ... it ... all. I'll never forget this guys wife... girl... whatever, who were not with us, but next to us and I think she was pregnant. I forget, but I remember her freaking out she couldn't use a fork to eat and the waitress saying 'there were no forks in medieval times' and she said 'GET ME A FORK. I EAT WITH A FORK. IM NOT A SAVAGE' lololol funniest shit I'll never forget those words. She got her fork of course.

Watching the Senators dominate the Kings for the most part last game really should have me confident in victory tonight, but it's the opposite. LA is so bad, but they may end up crushing a back-to-back west coast lagged team.

I’ve never been to Medieval Times and I think I’ll keep it that way...:)

Despite it being a b2b, it would actually be a bigger embarrassment to lose to the Kings right now than it would have been to lose last night to the Ducks long losing streak...let’s keep it going CDS! No fat and sassy, show that you deserved that contract...

I may not even make it to this game at 1030pm. I been awake since 5 am and plan to kick off the inebriation day around noon, 1ish, getting ready for the Chiefs at 4 and the cowboys at 8. Then the penguins at 1030?! Good lord there is almost 20 hours of sports to watch from now until sunday night

Err mehh gerrrd. I just checked when those rascals play and it's tonight, vs each other! AT 7 PM! There is not enough time in the day for sports today! whorey cow.
I am going to have to watch some caps vs blue jacks, part of me hopes that the Chiefs game is over by 7:05 now. Could be... hmm... Should be.

I don't understand the dilemma.

Pens hockey > literally everything else

You referring to me?
Well for one there are only 2 weeks of the year for great football playoff games on both saturday and sunday. unless the games suck of course.
2, Caps v BJacks directly affects the Penguins... standings wise, at a midseason level, but still... plus it stands to be highly entertaining and could replace a boring cowboys game.
I'm all over the place today with what to watch. But yes, Penguins are going on my computer at 1030 or tv if I end up wandering out of the house, which would be ill judgement on my behalf to go out after that long drinking.

Amen. And I sacrifice WAY more when the Aussie Open is on for tennis. I freaking love the Aussie Open (@Tom Hanks ). One of my absolute favorite tennis tourneys.

So i'll take a 10:30 great hockey any day.

You know what the most fun sport I played that I hadn't tried until I was older? Tennis. It is literally a physical test, a mental test, and agility test against your opponent. I absolutely LOVE playing tennis. Key is to find a good matched partner or doubles. Also helps to be in good shape.
I can watch it on tv too surprisingly, I just never know when the hell it's on, so I don't really ever watch, but I could.

Amen amen amen. I started playing with my gf when I was 16. Just picked it up casually and then I became pretty good at it. I never knew how hard it was on the body. I played hockey since I was 4 years old and I fully believe tennis is harder on the body than hockey. That is why Andy Murray just retired. That is why 30 year olds look like 50 year olds on the court (except Fed).

In the summers i worked all the way up to a tourney player 5.0-5.5 NTRP. I am 33 now and love it. The shape you have to be in to play competitive is ridiculous.

as someone who doesn't really watch tennis, what makes the Aussie Open different from other tennis?

Used to hate playing the Kings especially in LA. Sutter's neanderthal team was about hammering the visitors. Now Kings are just struggling with so many issues that Pens now are much better.

The fans. The most dedicated and universal fans. They come from all over and they party.

Plus the courts play relatively slower (more gritty) so the rallys are better. US Open courts are a bit too fast, IMO, and Wimbledon is on grass so it is waaay too fast. It's probably the most consistent hard court that plays slow to get great footing and great rallys.

Its a tough comparison no doubt. They are both physical, just tennis no big ogre is trying to murder you. I played tennis every day in Honduras when I was stationed at SCAB because there wasn't shit else to do, but the ENTIRE kennel of us played tennis all...the...time... if we didn't have doubles we always had enough to go just 1v1 good matchs.
Funny enough, I blew my miniscus out on the last day of playing tennis there too. Slipped on my left knee pivot on a backhand. That is how into it we were.
I played tennis a fraction of the time I played hockey, and I got bumps and bruises and sore as hell, but never hurt anything major before. Worse injury I can remember was a stick shattering and sticking into my shin, like an inch long stake was jabbed into my leg and you could see all that white matter inside... had to pull it out and ... well... that was disgusting. heh.
