I only watched the first period and it was so torid, i switched off.

This morning they win and they are closer To the séries. If Boston lose 3 games
We may have a chance.

Hopefully Allison will get more games this season. We know what NAK is at this point. We don't need to see more of him and his stupid penalties.
I would like Allison to get the opportunity to show if he can be an option for next season.

Laczynski and Allison will get plenty of PT the rest of the way, so will Morin, Hagg, and a few more callups.
I think Jackson Cates is on the NHL roster, he'll get a look, York will get a callup, I think they'll want to see Willman against NHL competition and determine if he's a flash in the pan or there's some potential there.
They might bring up Foerster and Wisdom at some point to see how they look against NHL competition before having to make a decision in TC next year between the NHL and CHL.

Zamula, Wylie, Millman, Ratcliffe, Hogberg, Bunnaman, Twarynski, Kase, Sandin, Day will probably finish the year in LHV, if there is any remaining season.

I'll be at the game with HCette and Thatcher Venmo for his first game. We'll be sitting on the glass with a sign that will have his real name (just pretend it says Thatcher Venmo) on it. I imagine it's pretty much a guarantee that an infant with a sign sitting on the glass will be on TV... don't judge me too harshly.

Of course this oligarch can afford a sign.

So dumb that we didn’t give Allison a look last week and see what they should have already known - and then trade can score Laughton for some nice picks. Now we have to bench a good player in a crap year anyway for no reason.

Was Allison still working back up to game shape last week?

Liked Allison. He’s only going to get better.
Would love to see Zamula (injured I think) up, or York.

for next game I’d play Allison with Couts and G. Let’s him

Giroux-Couturier-Allison
Farabee-Hayes-Konecny
JVR-Laughton-Voracek
Lindblom-Lascyznski-NAK

Allison is a RW with top six potential.
Laughton is a LW/C who is a 3rd line guy who also is a 1st pair PK guy.

Not exactly interchangeable.

It’s a huge one for the boys, to be sure. They had better come out “like a house afire”.

Maybe, but it’s not like he was a surprise.

More so that you are having to bench NAK or one of the kids to allow people to play. If you liked Laughton then you can still sign him in the summer. I think we could have gotten a first for him but who know.

Laughton is 26, the "kids" are mostly 23-24.
If you let Laughton hit FA, he's going to cost you 4x(3.5 to 4.0M) or more this summer. If he has to take the risk, he'll want to be paid for it.

If frost becomes a star. Patrick and Lindblom go back to how they were before injuries. Brink and Forestor become snipers! Konecny hits his ceiling. We could be a dangerous team for years to come. With Couturier, Giroux, and Hayes. Sticking around as veterans.
Wisdom and Laughton shape the bottom 6.

but there are so many what if’s ? Patrick and Lindblom could never hit form. Frost could be the next Jordan weal. You just don’t know.

we need to improve our prospect development. AHL coach. And NHL coaches. I don’t like what our current guys have done thus far.

I personally wouldn’t mind losing some big name forwards. And try and make an insane Defence for Hart.

Let the kids slowly take over this offence. Starting next year.

Trade Voracek
Expose JVR

Free up cap.
Get two more Quallity defenceman
And a good Back up goalie.
And a new head coach.

Allison had a truncated college season after missing time due to his ACL and having work his way back.
So starting off in the AHL was the right idea, he's probably up too soon and will have his share of mistakes, especially on defense.

They got rid of Raffl, NAK had earned a night off anyway, and now Patrick should be sitting out at least this weekend's games after taking a puck to the head.

I like what I've seen from him. He have plenty of room for learning. And he talk a lot with the coaches in-game. Which is good for team spirit. Pretty shure the guys take care of him.
