Luke Schenn paired with MDZ. Looks like MacDonald sits. I wonder how happy he is with sitting after signing that big contract this year. I wonder if there is any chance he would ask for a trade? Maybe the Flyers can trade him for another cap dump like Nikitan or something.

Probably not.

Also, I know people will be happy that Mac is sitting for the 2nd time this year as a healthy scratch but it clearly shows that the contract is probably unmovable. We are going to have to hope a coaching change helps restructure his game to become a top 4 defender again. If not we are stuck with a terrible contract that no team is going to want unless we retain a good amount of money.
