Good: Ennis, Risto, Moulson

Bad: PP, Benoit, Zads worst game

Ugly: Hodgson's playing himself out of the league. He loses every puck battle.

@BillHoppeNHL: Andrej Meszaros admits he probably should've gone after Lowry, said he didn't want to get a penalty.

LOL

Absolutely worthless. Get the **** off my team with that attitude.

Nolan doesn't want to answer the question if there is anyone better in Rochester on defense than 41/61. He knows there are. Management (guessing) says no.

Harrington asked Nolan in the postgame presser whether there are any D-men better than 61 and 41 in Rochester? Nolan squirmed and said "It's something that they'll have to talk about"

at the same time, it's on Nolan to play the players.....he knows they're ****, why play them so much?

What else can he do when the other options are two kids that he said they're trying not to overwhelm, a journeyman dman in Strachan and Weber.

Zads played 26mins and Risto played 23:30. No one else was above 20mins.

His options were two kids drafted in 2013, 3 guys who would clear waivers and Mike Weber. Nothing to work with, he knows that.

Murray recently said he has no problem sending a player with an NHL contract to Rochester. Benoit and Mess have to be candidates for this.

I wonder if part of the hesitation is trying to figure out which one to send down?? :laugh:

I suppose Mess has been less tire-firey than Ben Wah............

I'd just send them both down, call up Pisser and go with 7 Dmen the rest of the year.

this is what I'm getting at. I understand the not wanting to overwhelm the kids, but this is indefensible.

PP ice time

Benoit ----> 5:51
Zads ------> 5:47
The Mess --> 5:23
Risto -------> 4:39

Basically PP ice time was split between the two pairings. What exactly should Nolan have done? Play Risto and Zads the entire PP? Play Weber/Strachan on the PP? I know some of you love to bash Nolan but come on already. The two kids lead the dmen in ice time by a wide margin playing half of the PP and half of the PK minutes. Should they have both played 30mins? Be mad at the options he has not at him.

If there is one thing we lack in our system, it's a big time pp QB. I wonder if Murray will look to target one with all of our assets come the offseason.

Myers being out really did limit his options, but damn those two are tough to watch. Especially when they're paired.

I agree. Not only don't they belong on the PP they don't belong in the lineup. But until other options are brought in, we get to enjoy their play….. :help:

@BuffaloSabres

Zadorov & Ristolainen led the #Sabres in ice time (25:52 & 23:30). No goals were scored against when they were on the ice. #WPGvsBUF
